Obituary for Catherine E. Stanley Catherine E. Siplin Stanley was born November 29, 1931, to Cornelius and Alice Siplin. She attended Drew High School of Winter Garden, Florida. She was employed at West Orange Hospital as a Cook for eighteen years.

Catherine later moved to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, where she met and married Isaiah Stanley, Sr They were the proud parents of Cora Garden, Isaiah Stanley and Nora Stanley Steplight. Catherine was a member of Tildenville Baptist Church until she moved to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and became a member of a church there.

She loved the Lord, her family and friends. She was always trying to help other. Thank you so much mom for all the wonderful things you have done for all of us.

You taught us to put God and Jesus first and we will be ok. Love you mom and you will be missed. Catherine was preceded in death by her husband, Isaiah Stanley, Sr.; her parents, Cornelius and Alice Siplin; one son, Isaiah Stanley, Jr. and daughter, Cora Garden.

She leaves to cherish precious memories to: her daughter, Nora Steplight of Winter Garden, Florida; siblings, Rosa Allen (James) of Orlando, Florida, Nellie Smith of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Robert Siplin (Helen) of Brooklyn, New York, Rollie, Earlie and Deidra, all of Deltona, Florida, Charles Siplin of Orange City, Florida; sister-in law, Carrie Siplin and Eula Carter of Winter Haven, Florida; brothers-in-law, Homer Gaines, William Siplin and Alberta Anderson, all of New York; grandchildren, Henry Labell Garden, Freddie Garden, Vince Garden, Isis Williams and Pam Steplight, Sweetie, Andre Cumming, Terrance, Muffin, Kyran, Ariana; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and sorrowing friends.
