Catherine R. Beard OAKWOOD — Catherine R. Beard, 65, of Oakwood died 11:30 p.m. Saturday, May 18, 2019 at St. Luke’s Hospital, Maumee. She was born August 8, 1953 in Lima to the late Jim and Donna Belle Mae (Shawver) Parsons. On June 19, 1969 she married Bernard Beard, who survives in Oakwood.

Also surviving are 3 children: Donna (Dean) Miller of Oakwood, Kay (Rodney) Baxter of Oklahoma and Ed (Angie) Beard of Oakwood; Stepson: Ralph (Annette) Beard of Michigan; and many grandchildren. Catherine was a homemaker and enjoyed camping and fishing. She also enjoyed baking.

There will be no funeral services. The arrangements are under the direction of HEITMEYER FUNERAL HOME, Oakwood.
