Obituary for Cecelia A. “Sally” Piccolino Mignogna Cecelia A. “Sally” (Piccolino) Mignogna, died Saturday July 7, 2018 at home. She was born November 30, 1946 in Pittsburgh, a daughter of the late Albert and Dolores (Oravetz) Piccolino and was also preceded in death by her husband David P. Mignogna. Sally was a graduate of Allegheny County Community College and was a retired longtime volunteer and employee of Pittsburgh Action Against Rape.

She loved to sew and crochet and enjoyed crafts. She is survived by her daughters Angela Mediate and Dawn (Morris) Shapira; her granddaughter Evelina Mignogna; her siblings Cathy (Dan) Kernen, Patty (Dennis) McKnight, David (Marsha) Piccolino, and Mark (Barb) Piccolino; sisters in law Diane (the late Nicola) Mignogna and Eleanor (Don) Blake; also many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Forgie-Snyder Funeral Home, 1032 Broadway, East McKeesport, where a celebration of her life will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday.
