Obituary for Cecil Ray Long LONG, Cecil Ray; Beloved husband of Maryellen (nee Rost) Long for 67 years; Devoted father of Ken Long, Gwyn (Bill) Glassner and Greg (Bobbie) Long; Grandfather of Christie (Dave) Bogan, Brent (Allison) Long and Max Glassner; Great grandfather of Seth, Eli, Luke, Noah, Malachi and Macey; Passed away peacefully at his residence on Sunday May 20, 2018 at the age of 88; He enjoyed being a Private Pilot and his time in the air and spending time with his family on Lake Cumberland. Ray was an active committee member with the Boy Scouts Troop #98 and coached baseball for years; Visitation will be held at Monfort Heights United Methodist Church 3682 West Fork Road on Friday from 10 AM until time of funeral service at 12 Noon; If so desired remembrances may be sent to Monfort Heights United Methodist Church.
