On July 19, Cecil Walter Himes, Sr. passed away surrounded by his family. Mr Himes was the husband of the late Kathy Himes; devoted father of Allen Himes, Sr. and his wife Donna M. and the late Cecil Himes, Jr.; grandfather aka “PapPap” to Allen Jr. and his wife Crystal, Randy Himes, Joseph Himes and his wife Marina, Ryan Himes and his fiancee Lilly. Also survived by friend and nephew Dennis Hardee and his wife Brandy, Donna Himes-Fox, many nieces and nephews and the Perrera Family.

Cecil Himes, Sr. was a Army veteran and welder who retired from Bethlehem Steel A funeral service will be held at the Connelly Funeral Home of Es, 300 Mace Avenue on Wednesday at 10:30 am. Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 pm. Interment at Holly Hills Memorial Gardens to follow.
