Charlene Agnes English of Waverly Charlene Agnes English, 77, of Waverly passed away Friday December 28, 2018 at Elderwood in Waverly. Born January 3, 1941 in Waverly the daughter of the late Leah (Turner) and David Barrows. She was also predeceased by her sisters, Marla Barrows and Cheryl Smith and her niece Robbin Jenny.

Charlene graduated from Waverly High School and worked for many years as a Chef at the Ramada Inn in Ithaca, NY. She was an avid cook, was a league bowler for many years at both Valley Bowling Center and Luxury Lanes, she enjoyed watching the horse pulls with friends, loved to crochet and crossword puzzles. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother her family was her pride and joy.

Surviving Charlene are her daughters; Julie Schock, Waverly, Bonnie English, Waverly, and Rosie (Bill Sheffield) Perry, Ithaca, NY, four grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, her brother, Butch Barrows, Maryland, sister Joyce (Leland) Pipher, Florida, as well as a special cousin Elsie and nieces and nephews.
