Charlene Davidson married Jerry Madden on January 13, 1983 who preceded her in death on July 24, 2005.

She has 2 sisters, Jo Rosling of Mt. Pleasant, South Carolina and Betty Alford of Las Vegas, Nevada. She has one daughter Jody (Jay) Hicks of Norfolk, Virginia and 5 step-children, John Madden of Scottsdale, Arizona, Karen (John) Franck of Montegrosso D’Asti, Italy, Sandy (Bill) Detwiler, Nancy (David) McCarty and Tom Madden of Colorado Springs; two step-grandsons, Luke and Seth McCarty and one step-great grandson, Liam McCarty of Colorado Springs.
