Charles Anthony Jones , May 25, 1967 — April 12, 2018

Charles Anthony “Kable” Jones was born on May 25, 1967 to the union of Charles Worth Jones and Diane Jones (Barnes) in Wilson, North Carolina. He moved to the Washington DC area in 2006. Kable accepted Christ at an early age and in April 2018 rededicated his life to Christ and was baptized by his mother in his home.

Kable received his formal education in the Wilson County Public School System and after graduation attended Shaw University in Raleigh, NC. Early in his career Kable developed a strong passion for electronics and excelled at this in his profession – and became known by many in Wilson as “The Kable Guy”. Upon his passing, Kable was employed at General Electric as a Service Technician in Northern Virginia.

Kable was a loyal and dedicated employee who loved his job, coworkers and clients. Additionally, Kable started his own business in 2008, “Charles In Charge HVAC” where he gained countless residential and commercial clients in his local area, who all became friends. In 2005 he met the love of his life and longtime companion, Tamy, known to most as “Shawn”.

In November 2012 they were married in Charles County, MD where they resided until his passing. Charles Anthony “Kable” Jones departed this life peacefully on Thursday April 12, 2018 surrounded by his devoted wife and loving mother. He leaves to cherish his memories, his wife: Tamy Jones of White Plains, MD , Mother: Diane Barnes of Wilson, NC, Step-Father: Randolph Barnes of Wilson, NC, Father In Law: Richard Brunson of Clinton, MD, Mother In Law: Jo-Ann Brunson of Clinton, MD, Two Sons: Antjuan Jones and Teyon Jones both of Wilson, NC, Two Grandchildren: Khloe Jones and Kayden “KJ” Jones both of Wilson, NC, One Sister: Jennette Pernell of Wilson, NC, One Brother: Melvin Savage (Kim) of Wilson, NC, Two Sister In Laws: Wanda Brunson of White Plains, MD, Robin Brunson of Alexandria, VA, One Brother In Law: Richard “RJ” Brunson Jr. of Waldorf, MD, One Grandmother: Blanche Taylor of Wilson, NC, 13 Aunts, 9 Uncles, 2 Great Aunts, 5 Nieces, 3 Nephews, 2 Stepsisters, 1 Stepbrother and a host of Cousins, God brothers, God sisters and many friends.

Kable lived a full and vivacious life and was loved by everyone who met him. His memory and legacy will be cherished by all who knew and loved him and we will all miss him. Although he is gone from the physical world, he will never be forgotten.
