Charles “Chuck” Gates, Jr., 61, passed away Sunday December 2, 2018 at his home. He was born June 4, 1957 in Alamance County to the late Charles Alfred Gates, Sr. and Thelma Johnson Gates who survives. Chuck was the former co- owner of Lucky’s Saloon and the current co-owner of Frank’s Lounge in Gibsonville.

He was everyone’s best friend who will be missed by all who knew and loved him. He is survived by his mother; a sister Mitzi (Ron) Ingle; nieces, Madison Ingle, Morgan Ingle; uncle Kenny Johnson, a half sister, Valarie (Richard) Branch and several cousins. He was preceded in death by his father.

The service to celebrate his life will be held 11:00 AM Friday at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Steve Regan and then continue at Frank’s Lounge in Gibsonville.
