Mr. Charles “Chuck Edwin Funkhouser Tignall, GA Mr. Charles “Chuck” Edwin Funkhouser, 72 of Independence Street, Tignall, Georgia entered in rest on Wednesday, May 9, 2018 at his residence. Graveside services will be held Saturday, May 12, 2018 at 1 o’clock p.m. at Independence United Methodist Church Cemetery, Tignall, Georgia. Visitation will be held beginning at noon on Saturday in the Independence United Methodist Church.

Mr. Funkhouser, son of the late Emmett Funkhouser and Lucille Funkhouser was born in Minnesota and had lived in Wilkes County since 2001. He was retired owner of C&P Trucking His wife, Pat Brown Funkhouser, stepson, Sandy Roberson and brother, Gary Funkhouser, preceded him in death. Survivors include his companion, Connie Dove; four children, step-son, Gwyn Roberson and wife Angie, Tignall; brother, Don Funkhouser and wife Linda of Dade City, Fl.

; sisters, Darlene Carroll, Center Hill, Fl. , and Sue Perron and husband Danny, of Wisconsin; sister-in-law, Julie Funkhouser of Cottage Grove, MN. Beggs Funeral Home 200 May Ave.
