Charles (Chuck) Richard Henrich, 77, of Lake Placid went home to be with his Lord. Chuck was the son of Patricia (McClellan) and Charles Edward Henrich, who was born on September 17, 1942 in Detroit, Michigan. He served his country with honors in the US Army reserves.

Chuck was a retired firefighter and policeman working in public safety in Grosse Pointe Park, Michigan. He moved to Lake Placid in 2009 after his retirement in Michigan. Chuck was a member of the St. James Catholic Church in Lake Placid.

Chuck enjoyed working on his computer, playing games with his friends, riding his bike, exercising in the pool, and TV programs. Chuck was known by his friends at Sunshine RV as the “heckler”. He loved to spend time with his family and friends, especially his grandchildren.

Chuck is survived by his loving wife of 53 years Mary, son; Bruce Henrich (Michelle), daughter; Kelly Tarpey (Tim), three grandchildren Taylor, Max and Nick, his sisters; Loretta Davis-Trombley (Creigg), Hildie Tingley (Melvin), Jackie Brown (Tim) and Dea Henrich. In keeping with Chuck wishes, services were private for the family.
