Obituary for Charles David Bright Jr. Charles D. Bright Jr., age 48, of Berlin, died very suddenly and unexpectedly on November 13, 2018 at his home. Charles was born on March 17, 1970 in Mansfield, OH to Charles and Donna (Gardlock) Bright. He attended Hillsdale High School and later furthered his education specializing in the foundry industry.

On September 16, 1989 he was united in marriage to Susan Resnis and for many years have made their home in Berlin, WI. Charles was a dedicated Superintendent for the Neenah Foundry. He enjoyed camping, and especially enjoyed fishing whether it be in the summer or on the ice.

He was an avid fan of NASCAR, NHRA, dirt track racing and driving his pride and joy hemi-orange Challenger. Charles has always been a fan of Ohio sports especially the Cleveland Browns, Ohio State buckeyes and Cleveland Indian teams. In his spare time he took pride in his salt water fish aquariums, DIY projects, dogs, and running his Dave’s Street Treats ice cream truck.

He is survived by his wife, Susan Bright; sons, C. David Bright III (Ashley Harrison), Spencer Bright; daughter, Devyn Bright; mother, Donna Bright; brother, Dusty Bright (Brandy); other relatives and many friends. Charles was preceded in death by his father, Charles D. Bright Sr. and grandparents Martin and Cora Bright and William and Lennie Gardlock. Family and friends my visit with the family on Saturday December 1, 2018 from 10:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. at the Wiecki-Skipchak Funeral Home of Berlin.

A luncheon and a time for fellowship will follow in the family center. A funeral service will be held on December 8, 2018 at St. Michael Lutheran Church in the Village of Mifflin, Ashland, Ohio at 12:00 p.m. with Pastor Jean Coleman officiating. Family and friends my visit with the family at the church from 10:00 until the time of the service at noon.
