Obituary Charles “Smitty” Smith, 84, of Pueblo, passed away on Thursday, April 18, 2019. Charles was born on August 3, 1934 to Izola and Raymond Smith in La Junta. He married Jean Titus on September 13, 1954 in La Junta.

Charles grew up in La Junta and spent most of his life there. He worked for the La Junta Tribune-Democrat newspaper for over 50 years retiring in 1998. After retirement Jean and Charles spent their winters in Parker Dam, CA.
