Charles Dwayne Hunt March 29, 1951 – January 31, 2019 Share this obituary Sign Guestbook| View Guest Book Entries Charles “Chucky” Dwayne Hunt, age 67, of Cassopolis, died peacefully Thursday morning, January 31, 2019. He was born March 29, 1951 in Dowagiac, Michigan the sixteenth of eighteen children born to Theron and Corabell Hunt. Chucky loved to play his guitar in church and playing golf.

He enjoyed his ice cream, candy bars, and McDonald’s cheeseburgers and French fries. Charles will be greatly missed by family and friends. He is survived by two daughters, Charmaine (Keon) Lovelady and Charise (Keith) Dunlap, both of Indianapolis, Indiana; three sons, Charles Hunt, Alfonso Hunt, Tyler Hunt; five grandchildren; five sisters, Dorothy Alford of Memphis, Tennessee, Patricia (Eddie) Forrest of Indianapolis, Indiana, Carol Davis of Cassopolis, Sharon Doss of South Bend, Indiana, Deborah (Mark) Samuel of Anderson, Indiana; two brothers, Joe (Pearl) Hunt and Douglas Hunt, both of Cassopolis; two cousins, Deanie Hunt of Cassopolis, Delbert Hunt of Niles; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Charles was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Lavina Watson, Lola Buck; and one brother, Theron Hunt. Family and friends will gather Saturday, February 9, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. until time of service at 12:00 noon in Connelly Chapel Wagner Family Funerals, 202 North Broadway Street, Cassopolis. Mr. Hunt’s remains will be laid to rest in Prospect Hill Cemetery in Cassopolis, Michigan.

The family prefers contributions in Charles’ memory be made to the funeral home to help defray final expenses. Arrangements have been entrusted to Connelly Chapel Wagner Family Funerals, Cassopolis. Please share a memory or a message online.
