Charles Dwight Mezo, 83 of Harrisburg IL passed away Saturday, January 5, 2019 at the Linda E. White Hospice House in Evansville, IN. He was born August 28, 1935 in Herrin to Charles Mezo and Gladys Rush Mezo. Dwight worked at the Old National Bank as Vice President of Loans.

He was a member of the Herrin Lodge #643 AF & AM and honorary member of the Harrisburg Lodge #325 AF & AM. On February 18, 1983 he married Doris McDaniel Mezo and she survives. He is survived by his wife, Doris… Read More » of Harrisburg.

Daughters, Terri and husband Brent Miles of Newburgh, IN, and Lisa and husband Steve Ewing of Chester, VA. Five Grandchildren, Kristal, Damien, Kayla, Ariana and Tyler. Five Great Grandchildren, Aubrey, Braydon, Aiden, Cain, Shepard and two Companions, Chance and Missy K. Dwight was preceded in death by both his parents, and sister, Jackie Claunch.

Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Wednesday, January 9, 2019 at the J.M. Weirauch Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the Maple Grove Cemetery, Boonville, Indiana. Friends may call from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM Tuesday, January 8, 2019 at the J.M. Weirauch Funeral Home.
