Obituary for Charles Edward (Ed) Fisher Charles Edward (Ed) Fisher, age 66, of Cleveland, WV, passed away suddenly on Sunday, August 26, 2018, at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Buckhannon. He was born April 21, 1952, in Braxton County, a son of the late Orvin and Rella Fisher Hinkle, and was also preceded in death by his companion of 27 years, Della V. Rollins, on November 16, 2008. He is survived by one son James Fisher of French Creek; four daughters: Jennese and husband Chuck Green of Hacker Valley, Rosella and husband Steve Jones of Hacker Valley, Betty and husband Frank Boyer of Jacksonville, FL, and Lena Rollins Samples of Buckhannon; twelve grandchildren: Sierra Rollins, Hunter, Timberlee, and Brooklynn Dehainaut, Ceanna Boyer, Christopher, Noah, Austin, and Ryker Green, Anthony McCartney, Gage Riley, and Bryllon Fisher; three great grandchildren: Brenner, Bryleigh, and Briella McCartney; four brothers: Arnie Hinkle and wife Sue, Bill Hinkle, Ron Hinkle, and Ross Hinkle and wife Anette; one sister-in-law Faith Burges; and many other extended family and friends.

In addition to his parents and companion Della, he was also preceded in death by three brothers: Bob, Athea, and Dana Hinkle; and one nephew Daniel Hinkle. Ed was a logger with his long-time friend Sonny Robinson. In his spare time, he enjoyed riding his four-wheeler and hunting.

The family will receive friends on Friday, August 31, 2018, from 5-8:00 PM, at the Heavner and Cutright Funeral Chapel. The funeral will be held on Saturday, September 1, 2018, at 11:00 AM, at the funeral chapel, with the Rev. Cecil Williams officiating.
