Charles Edward Queener Sr., age 88 of Campbell County went home to be with the Lord Thursday, September 6, 2018. He was a member of West Walden Church of God. Charles was a loving husband of 60 years, father, and papaw.

He loved spending time with his family and enjoyed going to church and singing with the Queener family for years. He was truly a blessing to Williamsburg Health & Rehab where he resided and often played his guitar and harmonica. Charles passed on his musical abilities to his family and he will be greatly missed until we meet again.

He is preceded in death by wife Anna Barbara (Allen) Queener, daughter Anna Taylor, parents Owen and Cloa (Hatmaker) Queener, and sister Betty Lombardo. He is survived by son Charles “Eddie” Queener Jr. & wife Lori of Jacksboro; daughter Sue Fields & husband Paul of Williamsburg, KY. ; sister Ovie Baird of Cherry Bottom; grandchildren Matthew Queener, Abbie Oliver, Chase and Matt Fields, Daniel, Blake, Wendy Bratcher, and Summer Croley; 13 great grandchildren.

Visitation will be 5-7 PM Sunday, September 9, 2018 in the chapel of Martin Wilson Funeral Home followed by funeral service at 7 PM with Rev. Jasper Walden and Rev. Jay Walden officiating.
