On Friday, April 20, 2018 God sent his angels to bring Charles Leonard Crews, Sr. home to heaven. Charles was born June 22, 1925 in North Carolina. He was employed at Whitney Blake and retired at the age of 89 from First Church of Christ, Woodbridge.

Charles is survived by his children Ann M. Crews, Charles L. Crews, Jr. and his wife Karita Crews and Janice C. Caulk, also brother James McKissick of Waukegan, IL. He is also survived by three grandsons, Douglas Wardlaw, Jr. and Nicole, Daimon Caulk and wife Felicia Caulk and Jason Caulk and wife Alison Caulk, ten great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. Charles is also survived by a host of other relatives and friends.

Charles loved family and friends. He had a great sense of humor, loved music , baseball, old westerns and tinkering with his cars. Funeral service will be held at the First Church of Christ, Meetinghouse Lane, Woodbridge on Friday, April 27, 2018 at 1:00pm.
