Charles Lloyd Cobler was born on February 10, 1944 to Charlie Andrew and Cora (Cox) Cobler in Locust Grove, Oklahoma. He departed this life on February 1, 2019 at his home in Pryor, Oklahoma. Charles grew up and attended school in Locust Grove, graduating from Locust Grove High School in 1962.

On June 19, 1961 he married Joan Marie Mapes and the couple made their home in Pryor. Charles worked for the Union as a brick mason until retirement.
