OBITUARY Charles Paul Sutton January 14, 1933 – October 11, 2018 C. Paul Sutton, passed away on October 11, 2018 to be with the Lord. He was surrounded by his family. Paul was born January 14, 1933 in Newman, Illinois.

Paul graduated Grossmont High School Class of 1951. He was in the Marine Corps from 1951 – 1954 during the Korean War. Paul was owner of Bray-Sutton Plumbing until 1996 when he retired.

Upon his retirement, he and his wife Colleen traveled in their motor home for 18 years, traveling throughout the U.S.A. with a home in Palm Springs and one in Wyoming. In 2014 they settled in Alpine, CA to be near their children and grandchildren. Paul enjoyed golfing, traveling, & spending time with his family.

He is survived by wife Colleen of 64 years, children Cassie Hurst, Michael Sutton, Tammy Church, 5 grandchildren, and 12 great grandchildren. Preceded in death by his parents Walter and Lucille Sutton, and brother Tom Sutton. A Memorial Service will be held at Shadow Mountain Community Church, 2100 Greenfield Dr., El Cajon, CA 92019.

In leiu of flowers donations can be made to St. Jude’s Children Hospital. Private interment will be at Miramar National Cemetery. Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at www.
