Charles R. Moore, age 92, died July 13, 2018 at his home in Enumclaw. He was born May 27, 1926 in Firebaugh, California to Amanda Christine (Wickstrom) and Charles Robert Moore, Sr. Charles served four tours in the Navy during WWII and Korea. On December 11, 1953 Charles married Marie Lewis in Richmond, California.

He retired from Boeing after 32 years as an engineer. Charles and Marie enjoyed traveling in their RV. His hobbies included gardening, tending to his fruit trees, woodworking and photography.

He was also a ham radio operator and a member of the American Legion. Charles is survived by his wife of 64 years Marie Moore of Enumclaw; sons Terry Moore (Kahynna) of Federal Way and Rick Moore (Jean) of Mill Creek; daughters Theresa Nichols (Bob) of Milton and Tracy Holyan (Chuck) of Enumclaw; brother Ed Moore of San Andreas, CA; 8 grandchildren; and 8 great grandchildren.
