Charles S. Nave, age 53, of Somerset, Kentucky formerly of Wauconda, Illinois, passed from this life on Sunday, December 9, 2018 at his residence after an extended illness. He was born on April 27, 1965 in Middletown, Connecticut, son of Doreen McNeilly Nave and the late Charles G. Nave. Charles spent his younger years as the son of a career military father and later followed in his footsteps and served his country in the United States Navy.

He was married to Julie Huber Nave on February… Read More » 24, 1996. Charles worked as a Fabricator/Machinist with the Eagle Hardwood Company in Somerset before his health began to fail. He was perhaps noted best for his love for life, his intellect and non-conventional ways of living life to its fullest.

He enjoyed the company of his family but cherished the investment of time for his family especially his children. Charles was intrigued by the study of Scientology and will be sadly missed by those who knew and loved him. Charles leaves behind to cherish his memory his mother, Doreen McNeilly Nave of Zion, Illinois; his wife of 22 years, Julie Huber Nave; a son, Cameron Scott Nave both of Somerset, Kentucky and a daughter; Jena (Chris) Rodriguez of Palatine, Illinois as well as a brother; Robert Glen Nave of Zion, Illinois and a host of other relatives and friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held from 10:30 AM until the time of the Memorial Service at 11:30 AM on Saturday, December 15, 2018 in the Chapel of Kisselburg-Wauconda Funeral Home, 235 North Main Street, Wauconda, Illinois. Charles’ final resting place will be among the beauty of nature in Nashville, Tennessee as per his request. In lieu of Flowers, contributions are suggested to the World Wildlife Foundation, P.O.
