Charles Steven Montgomery, age 43, of Evensville, passed away Monday, April 29, 2019 at Lifecare of Rhea County. He was born on October 3, 1975 in West Germany. Charles was preceded in death by his father Johnny Montgomery.

Charles lived in Rhea County most of his life. He graduated from Rhea County High School, Class of 1993. Charles was employed by Carter Diesel for many years as a dispatcher and was of the Church of God faith.

He is survived by his mother and stepfather, Patricia (Eddie) Yearwood of Evensville; his brother Jonathan Montgomery of Evensville; and stepmother, Sue Montgomery of Dayton. A graveside service for Charles will be held Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. at Hensley Family Cemetery in Dayton with Rev. Ron Underwood officiating.
