Mr. Charles Wayne Cosby Thomson- Mr. Charles Wayne Cosby, 49, entered into rest Sunday, December 23, 2018, at his residence. Funeral service will be 1 p.m. Thursday, December 27, 2018 in Curtis Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Bobby Farmer officiating.

Burial will follow in Tignall Baptist Church Cemetery. Mr. Cosby was a native of Wilkes County, but had lived in Thomson for many years. He was retired from Shaw Industry and a member of Fort Creek Baptist Church.

He was predeceased by his mother Linda Ann Cosby. Survivors include his father, George H. Cosby, Sr. (Amy), Thomson; two brothers, Chris Cosby (Jan) and George Cosby, Jr. (Miranda), both of Thomson; two special little people, Alayna and Brayden. Friends may call at the home of George Cosby Sr. or the funeral home.

The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday night at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to a charity of one’s choice. Curtis Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
