Obituary for Charles William Bednarz Sr. Charles William Bednarz, Sr. of San Antonio, went Home to be with the Lord on Thursday, May 24, 2018 at the age of 83. He was born in Poth, Texas on September 17th, 1934 to Berthold and Mary Lee (Dlugosh) Bednarz, Sr. Charles was an avid outdoorsman who loved to fish, hunt, and garden while also spending time with loved ones. Charles, along with his wife, was a member of an RV club that allowed him to travel all over his home state of Texas.

He is survived by his loving wife of over 60 years, Linda Bednarz; his three children, Charles W. “Chuck” Bednarz, Jr. and his wife, Beatrice, Cathy Rauschuber and her husband, Dale, and Mark Bednarz and wife Kellie; 4 grandchildren; sister, Joyce Royce; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. SERVICES Visitation will begin at 5:00 P.M. followed by a Rosary at 7:00 P.M. on Thursday, May 31, 2018 at Mission Park Funeral Chapels North, 3401 Cherry Ridge Drive. The Funeral Mass will be at 10:00 A.M. on Friday, June 1, 2018 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, 13715 Riggs Road, Helotes, Texas 78023.
