Obituary of Charles Chevillet August 17, 1939 – April 14, 2018 Charles Chevillet. Age 78 of Brownstown Beloved husband of Joyce Chevillet. Loving father of Gary (Carole), Jeffrey (Jodie), Ronald and Daniel.

Dearest grandfather of Nicolas, Brittany, Paige, Daniel, Samantha and Charlie. Dear Great Grandfather of Louie, Rio, and great granddaughter due in July. Dear Brother of Wesley (Shirl), Walter (Gerry), and Douglas (Judi).

Brother In Law of Sharon (Charles Le Page) Booth, Jack (Dorothy) Odonnell and Katie (Ron) Kokoski. Preceded in death by Grandson, Benjamin. FAMILY TRIBUTE Charles “Chuck” Chevillet Age 78.

Passed April 14, 2018 after battling Dementia. Born and raised in Allen Park he graduated in 1958, served his country in the US Army Infantry Division then spent the next 56 1/2 years of marriage as a loving husband of Joyce raising four sons. A self-taught hard worker his gift to solve issues came thru common sense and logic.

Along with his brothers, owned and operated a full service gas & towing station at an early age Spent 30 loyal years at Cadillac Motor Co. and took pride in driving the company brand. An exceptional mechanic devoted to his trade with an ability to fix anything Devoted numerous years coaching little league baseball and football in the City of Southgate. Volunteered countless hours teaching Leadership to Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts and YMCA Indian Guides; organizing camping and canoeing trips.

After settling down in retirement, he enjoyed trips to his lake home on Lily Lake in Harrison MI; Entertaining family on the pontoon boat or swimming in the lake, listening to music, singing and playing the harmonica but especially napping on the back porch glider. A faithful attendant of his grandchildren’s events he never stopped coaching and sharing advice. Cremation has taken place at Molnar Funeral Home in Brownstown MI.
