EICHEL, Charles “Dick” R., 89, passed away on Sunday, September 30, 2018. Dick was born on July 30, 1929 to the late Benjamin and Virginia Eichel, in Dayton, OH. Dick served his country in the Naval Reserve.

He spent most of his working years in the Tool and Die industry, working primarily for First Tool of Dayton. Dick was a longtime member of David’s United Church of Christ and performed in the choir for nearly 40 years. He always had a smile on his face and enjoyed life.

Dick is preceded in death by his loving wife of 57 years, Jean Eichel; and son, Ronald Eichel. He is survived by many nieces, nephews, and grandchildren. A funeral service will be held 11:00AM Friday, October 5, 2018 at Routsong Funeral Home, 81 N. Main St., Centerville, with a visitation starting an hour prior.

Burial at Miami Valley Memory Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Recovery, Inc., 802 N. Dearborn St., Chicago, IL 60610.
