Charlie Jonas, Sr. May 05, 1944 – May 16, 2019 Share this obituary Sign Guestbook| Send Sympathy Card Charlie Jonas, Sr., of San Antonio, passed away on May 16, 2019 in San Antonio at the age of 75 years. He was born May 5, 1944 in San Antonio, one of four children of Walter and Virginia Goll Jonas. Charlie was an owner/operator of Lynco Movers, Inc., Jonas Brothers Transfer, Inc., Executive Int’l Van and Storage, Quality Moving and Storage Service, Inc., Jonas and Sons Van and Storage, Inc., American Int’l Van and Storage, Inc. and Premier Moving and Storage, Inc. His favorite times were spent on his ranch.

Survivors include his children, Charlie Jonas, Jr. (Kathy) of San Antonio and Tammy Jonas of Helotes; grandchildren, Kyle Douglas Jonas and Justin Paul Jonas; sisters, Lucille (Bobby) Flores of Helotes and Katherine Jonas Batey of San Antonio as well as numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives. Charlie was preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Virginia Goll Jonas; brother, Robert (Dorothy Jean) Jonas, Sr.; brother-in-law, Russell Batey and special family friend, Mr. T. Thompson. Visitation will be Monday, May 20, 2019 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Tondre-Guinn Funeral Home.

Mass of the Resurrection will be Tuesday, May 21, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Louis Catholic Church, 1306 Angelo Street, Castroville, Texas 78009. A Graveside Service will follow at Zion Lutheran Cemetery of Helotes, 9944 Leslie Road, San Antonio, Texas 78254. Charlie was always concerned about feeding the wildlife on his ranch, especially the cotton tails.
