Charlotte Ann (Justham) Sanko, 78, Sykesville, passed away Wednesday, October 3, 2018 at Christ the King Manor after a lengthy illness. She was born October 7, 1939 in Sykesville, PA, the daughter to the late Fred & Jennie (Torrelli) Justham. She was a graduate of Sykesville High School.

Charlotte previously worked as a bartender at the Sykesville American Legion and a waitress at both Momma’s Diner in Sykesville and the Bobette Diner. She enjoyed spending time with family, family cookouts and attending her grandchildren sporting events. Charlotte is survived by four daughters, Sharon (Lenny Dixon) Sanko of Sykesville, Karen (Mark) Marusiak of Reynoldsville, Donna (Kevin McAfee) Marshall of Sykesville and Caroline (Michael) Rockwell of Reynoldsville, a sister, Jeanne Olejarz of Jupiter, FL, six grandsons, Anthony Marusiak, Andrew Marusiak, Adam Sanko, Timothy Marshall, Dustin Shakespeare and Cody Shakespeare and one great-grandson Westyn Sanko.

In addition to her parents Charlotte is also preceded in death by two sisters, Theresa (Justham) Stankiewicz & Caroline S. Justham and one brother William S. Justham. Memorial Mass will be held on Tuesday, October 9, 2018, at 11:00am at Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Church with Fr. William Barron as Celebrant.

Burial will take place in the Church Cemetery. In lieu of flowers family suggest donations to either Christ the King Manor (Memory Support Unit) or Penn Highlands Community Nurses (Hospice). Online condolences can be made at www.
