She was born April 21, 1936, in Wewoka, Oklahoma to the late Charles Cowen and Sally Bell (Haliburton) Gaither. She retired as an Activity Director of a Nursing Home.

She is preceded in death by her parents, a brother and sister. She is survived by her husband Gerald Jergensen, son Charles Wayne Hamm, daughters Shawan Jergensen and Debra Hamm, grandchildren Jeffrey Hamm, Chuck Hamm and Ron Jergensen. There will not be services at this time.
