OBITUARY Charlotte Marie Bailey January 30, 1954 – August 13, 2018 Charlotte Marie Bailey, 64, of Fairdale, passed away on Monday, August 13, 2018. She was the former Charlotte Meyer, and retired from Jefferson County Health Department with 35 years in Administration. She was preceded in death by her parents, Carl & Mary Meyer.

She is survived by her husband of 40 years, Raymond; daughters: Dawne Bailey (Bryan), Shelly Blevins (Harvey), Lori Mach, and Angela Newton (Bryon); son, Joey Bailey (Maeghan); grandchildren: Neil Ferguson, Jessica & Harvey Blevins, Jr, Kristen Blake, David Hines, Frankie III & Lauren Mach, Alex, Julia & Zack Newton, Maci & Dawson Bailey, Asia Brien & Shauntele Halili; great-grandchildren: Ayva Hines, Karma & Kemper Ferguson, Raven Gorman, and Bailey Blake; brother, Buddy Meyer; sisters: Gladys Barker, Mary McIntyre, and Joyce Berger; and a host of nieces, nephews, family, friends & loved ones. Funeral services will be at noon on Saturday, August 18, at Fairdale-McDaniel Funeral Home, with burial in Mt. Holly Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 2-8PM Friday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Kosair Childrens Hospital or The Healing Place.
