Cherryl’s Obituary Cherryl. Y. Phang, 58, of Sedalia, died Thursday, March 7, 2019 at Bothwell Regional Health Center. Born November 19, 1960 in Sedalia, she was a daughter of the late Floyd R. and Mary k. (Calhoun) Cook.

She was married to Vincent Phang, who survives. Cherryl enjoyed collecting dolls, scrapbooking and playing internet games. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Also surviving are her children, Ricky Cook, Joseph Luera and Nikki Howe, all of Sedalia; her siblings, Floyd “Bob” Cook (Anna) of New Hampshire, Kathy Younce (J.O.) of LaMonte, John Cook (Melinda) of Sedalia and Marsha Goalder (Steve) of Sedalia; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by a daughter Elaine Cook. Funeral services will be 6 p.m. Monday, March 11, 2019 at McLaughlin Funeral Chapel with Pastor Rob Ayers officiating.

Burial will be at a later date in Crown Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5 p.m. until service time Monday at the funeral chapel.
