Cheryl Ann “Cookie” Lang, 70, passed away peacefully on December 2, 2018 after a long illness. She was born August 9, 1948 in Akron to the late Francis “Bud” and Anna Schoenbaechler. She graduated from Coventry High School in 1966 and attended Brazosport College in Lake Jackson, TX.

Cookie had a wonderful sense of humor. She loved music, dancing, astronomy, philosophy, collecting rocks and crystals, walking in nature and spending time with her family. Cookie was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Russ Schoenbaechler.

She is lovingly remembered by her daughter, Christie (Lenny); son, Joshua (Jennifer); sisters, Mary (Marty) Tabatcher and Patti Hall; grandchildren, Kaiden and Riley; and nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank the staff of Hickory Ridge Nursing and Rehabilitation Center for their wonderful care. Per Cookie’s wishes, no public services will be held.

Memorial donations may be made to Hickory Ridge Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in memory of Cheryl Lang.
