Cheryl Elaine Whitaker, age 74 of Harriman passed away at home surrounded by her loving family, Friday, April 26, 2019. Cheryl was born in Neon, Kentucky. She retired from Willow Run Community School in Ypsilanti, Michigan “Ypsitucky”.

Cheryl was a devoted wife, loving mother and loving grandmother who loved knitting and gardening. She was a strong animal activist and an active member of the ASPCA. She is preceded in death by her son, David B. McHone and mother, Helen Oliver.

Cheryl is survived by her husband, James Justice, Son, Ricky Dean Whitaker, Daughter, Leighanna Pressley and husband Jacob, Granddaughter, Autumn Lace McHone Cheryl chose cremation with no services to be held. “Rest In Sweet Peace Cheryl” To leave a note for Cheryl’s family or to share a memory, please sign the online guest book at jacksonfuneralservices.com.
