Obituary for Mrs. Cheryl Mosley Dear Family and Friends – It is with great sadness that we share the news that Cheryl Anne (Pattillo) Mosley, our beloved friend, wife, mother, relative, counselor, and angel to so many was called home by God on April 4, 2018 after a battle with cancer. The outpouring of love and support received from all of you around the country so quickly is deeply moving and sincerely humbling on so many levels, and we, the family, are forever grateful for this gift of affection. As expected, many have inquired about the final arrangements on her behalf.

Since she had the time for preparation of this day of transition, Cheryl has requested that we honor her wishes by limiting the traditional celebration of life to be reflective of her modest principles by only having a cremation and intimate memorial service with immediate family members and a very small number of friends in lieu of a funeral. While this may be a challenge for so many of us who loved and respected her, we’re confident that each of you will understand and embrace her last wish. Please pass this message of peace along to all.

She lived her recent years driven with an overwhelming excitement about becoming a first-time grandparent, now expected at the end of May but she was unable to make it to that day. Since so many have asked what you can do in celebration of Cheryl’s life and were willing to travel for homegoing services, the family has decided (for those so inclined) that in lieu of flowers or food, that a donation of any size be provided on her behalf for our soon to be grandson’s college education fund! We pray that God continues to bless you as He has blessed our family in so many ways. With sadness but a joyful place in our hearts for the time we had together, love always……. .
