Obituary for Chester Thorpe Chester Lee Thorpe, age 82, Middletown, Ohio went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, January 5, 2019 at Arlington Point Nursing Home. He was born in Jackson, KY on October 8, 1936 to Curt and Dora (Butler) Thorpe. Chester loved to hunt and fish.

He was employed at Armco Steel as a crane leader. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He was the owner of Coon Tracks Hunting Supplies.

His cb handle was “Rooster”. Chester is preceded in death by his parents; first wife, Myrtle (Combs) Thorpe; son, Timothy Thorpe; brothers, Jimmy and Bobby; sisters Louise and Sue. He is survived by wife of 18 years, Patricia Stepp-White Thorpe; daughters, Patricia (John) Kelly and Melinda (Perry) Seely; son, Bradley (Kelley) Thorpe; eight grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; stepson, John White; sisters, Juliet and Mae.

Funeral services are Thursday, January 10, 2019 at 11:00 am at Breitenbach Anderson Funeral Home, 517 South Sutphin Street Middletown, OH with Reverend Jimmy Anderson officiating. Burial in Butler County Memorial Park. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 9, 2019 from 5:30 pm-7:30 pm at the funeral home.
