OBITUARY Chris Roger Lee Eldridge January 6, 1953 – January 28, 2019 Chris Roger Lee Eldridge, 65, passed away on January 28, 2019. He was born on June 2, 1953 in Fort Wayne, IN, the son of the late Chester Eldridge and Marlene Keesler. Chris graduated from North Side High School and joined the Navy.

He was a Navy Seal and two time Vietnam Veteran. After eleven years he was honorably discharged. He went on to work for the Veterans Administration and most recently worked as a Pipe Fitter at the VA Hospital.

Chris was an avid golfer and enjoyed spending time in the pool, vacationing, and visiting the beach. He was a past Commander at Navy Club Ship 245, and also a member of American Legion Post 330. Surviving are his loving wife of 26 years, Judy Eldridge; children, Nichole Miles and Chad (Christina) Eldridge; step-children, Stacy Glancy and Andy (Jessica) Lee; 8 grandchildren, siblings, Marita Rose (Stanley) Miller, Kevin (Teresa) Keesler, Kirt Keesler, and Kelly (Jason) Henning.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, February 1, 2019 at D.O. McComb and Sons Lakeside Park Funeral Home, 1140 Lake Ave. , Fort Wayne, IN 46805, with visitation one hour prior. Visitation will also be held from 4 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, January 31, 2019 also at the funeral home.
