Obituary for Chriss P. Mazzarella Chriss Philip Mazzarella, age 70, of St. Augustine, passed away November 13, 2018 at the Bailey Family Center for Caring. He was born in Port Jefferson, New York, son of Michael and Mary (Ferrara) Mazzarella. He grew up in Mastic Beach and the Long Island area, until moving with his family to St. Augustine 12 years ago.

He worked as a claims adjustor for Allstate Insurance Company for 38 years. He retired as an adjuster and went back to work as a consultant. Chriss loved cars and was a gun collector.

He enjoyed baking and was a very distinguished cake baker and decorator. He was a devout family man and will be lovingly missed. He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Anne Mazzarella; son, Chriss (Joana) Mazzarella of Clinton Corners, NY; brother, Michael Mazzarella (Sally) of Rhinebeck, NY; nieces and nephews, Joseph, Frank, Elizabeth, Michelle, Stacey, Jason, Carrie Ann and Vanessa; mother-in-law, Phyllis Dressler; sister-in-law, Linda Ohson; brother-in-law, Charles Lee Dressler.
