Christine Watkins Martin, 59, of Mt. Sterling died on Sunday, May 19, 2019 at Windsor Care Nursing Home in Mt. Sterling.

She was born on February 25, 1960 to the late Curtis Watkins and Betty Spindlow. Christine was of the Christian Faith and a native of Montgomery County. She had a big heart that led her to give to others.

Christine enjoyed spending time with friends but most of all she loved her grandchildren. She will be dearly missed by her friends and family. She is survived by her son Mathew Lawson of Mt.

Sterling; two daughters Becky Lawson (Jamie) of Paris and Michelle Lawson (Jeff Gleason) of Somerset; brother Curtis Watkins of Mt. Sterling; three sisters Connie Johnson of Mt. Sterling, Cindy Graham (Rick) of Wilmore and Marbelle Kay Watkins of Mt.

Sterling; eight grandchildren Braxton Smallwood, Alana Smallwood and Bryant Smallwood all of Bath County, Camron Willoughby of Mt. Sterling, Bailey Smith, Bentley Smith, Brayson Smith of Paris and Jaelyn Gleason of Somerset and special friend Judy Barnes of Mt. Sterling.
