Ms. Daisy Christine Whitener, 86, of Cartersville died on Saturday, March 2, 2019 in Pompano Beach, Florida. Born in Cedar Bluff, Alabama on August 29, 1932 she was the daughter of the late Henry M. Haney and the late Essie Hackett Haney. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Claude E. Whitener.

Survivors include her son, Keith Whitener of Tamarac, Florida. Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, March 7, 2019 at Oak Hill Cemetery with Reverend Keith Willard officiating. In lieu of flowers those desiring may make memorial contributions in Ms. Whiteners honor to the Dementia Society of America.
