Christopher Francisco, 41, of Shippenville, passed away unexpectedly following a brief illness on Tuesday, December 25, 2018 at the Allegheny General Hospital surrounded by his family. Born February 13, 1977, in Clarion, Chris was the son of Bruce and Linda Wilshire Francisco. Chris graduated from Keystone High School in 1995.

He attended Clarion University where he received his Bachelor’s in History. He worked for CCS Renovations as a supervisor. Chris enjoyed spending time with niece and nephews, family and friends and watching the Steelers, Pirates and especially the Penguins.

Along with his parents Bruce and Linda Francisco of Shippenville, Chris is survived by his sister Lissa Demmer and her husband David of Shippenville, his niece and nephews Gabe, Lilia and Caleb Demmer of Shippenville and numerous aunts, uncles and closer friends. Chris was preceded in death by his grandparents John and Geraldine Wilshire and George “Bud” and Della Francisco and an uncle Tom “Lefty” Wilshire. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 pm on Thursday, December 27th and 10 to 11 AM Friday December 28th at the McEntire-Weaver Funeral Home 504 East Penn Ave.

, Knox. Funeral services will be held at 11 AM Friday in the funeral home. Interment will follow at the Clarion Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials be made to the booster club of the Keystone High School Sport of one’s choice.
