Christopher Dale “Chris” Gentry, 42, of Smiths Grove, died Monday night, March 4, 2019 as the result of an auto accident in Warren County. Chris was born in Bowling Green, the son of Roger and Sue Allen Gentry of Glasgow who survive. Chris was employed by the Glasgow Water Company for 23 years.

He was Chief Operator and Lab Analyst at the Beaver Creek Water Treatment Plant. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his daughter, Kaitlyn Gentry of Smiths Grove; a sister, Kimberly Gentry Campbell (Timmy Shirley) of Glasgow; his girlfriend Amy Love; his aunts and uncles, Shirley Reed (Danny) of Park City, Gary Allen (Wilma) of Smiths Grove, J. D. Allen (Patty) of Glasgow, David Allen (Pat) Smiths Grove and Billy Allen (Enita) of Park City; nephews and niece, Dakota, Landon and Alexia Campbell and several cousins. He was preceded in death by an infant son, Christopher Blake “Cooper” Gentry and his grandparents, Garnett and Charleen Allen and Walter “Tommy” and Frances Cooper.

Funeral services will be 12:00 Noon Friday, March 8th at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Shiloh Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 12:00 Noon on Thursday. To send flowers or a memorial gift to the family of Christopher Dale “Chris” Gentry please visit our Sympathy Store.
