Christopher Francis McMurray, 54 of Oceanport, passed away peacefully on Friday, December 14, 2018 at Monmouth Medical Center, Long Branch. Chris was born in San Jose, CA. He grew up in Monmouth Beach and lived in Florida for the last 15 years before returning to the shore area this past October.

He was a graduate of Shore Regional High School, West Long Branch, Monmouth University, West Long Branch where he received his Bachelors degree in Accounting and Stetson University, DeLand, Fl where he received his Masters in Accounting. He is predeceased by his mother; Mary Gallagher McMurray, and his brother; Michael McMurray. He is survived by his father; William McMurray of Oceanport, a son; Clifford McMurray, Florida, a brother; Arthur McMurray, Ocean Grove, an uncle; James McMurray, Brick, an aunt; Mary Worrell, Martha’s Vineyard and his former wife; Thelma McMurray.

A memorial mass will be celebrated 10:00am on Friday, February 1, 2019 at St. Michael’s RC Church, 800 Ocean Ave, West End, Long Branch, NJ. Hoffman Funeral Home, Long Branch was entrusted with Christopher’s funeral arrangements. Condolences may be left at www.
