Obituary for Christopher George Hopkins Christopher George Hopkins age 48, left our world on May 30, 2018 after a hard fought battle with cancer. He was born in Port Angeles, WA on January 12, 1970 to William G. Hopkins and Patti (Chittister) Hopkins. Chris lost his dad “Bill” in 2011.

He is survived by Donna Hopkins; the one he called mom, his brother Geoff Hopkins (wife Sandra), a very much loved nephew; Shaun Hopkins, and many aunts, uncles and cousins. Although not raised together, he also leaves behind a brother Jason Jones, half-sisters Casey Lewis and Alicia Jones, and Patricia Chittester. As a very young man, Chris married his childhood sweetheart, Amy Hoover.

They weren’t destined to stay married, but Amy and her brothers, Blake and Ben, were a large part of his younger life. Most recently he leaves behind his significant other of 10 years; Lynne Reiboldt. Chris was very creative and full of energy.

He loved to putter and fix things, and was always cleaning or shining something. He developed many long-time relationships with those who called him brother, uncle, friend, and some who look up to him as a father figure. Be assured, he loved you all.

A celebration of Chris’ life will be held in Kennewick, WA, date tbd. In lieu of flowers, please feel free to make a donation in Chris’ name to The Chaplaincy/Hospice where Chris and his family were privileged to meet his angels on earth. You will be missed, Chris.
