Shimulunas, age 48, resident of DePere, Wisconsin, died unexpectedly Sunday, December 16, 2018 at the Aurora BayCare Medical Center in Green Bay. Chris was born in Wausau, Wisconsin on August 7, 1970, son of George “Bucky” and Jill Shimulunas. He attended St. John’s Lutheran Grade School in Two Rivers and graduated from Washington High School with the class of 1988.

Chris then furthered his education at Lakeshore Technical College in Cleveland. He was currently working as a Quality Assurance Supervisor with Winona Foods of Green Bay and was formerly employed with Salm Partners of Denmark. Christopher loved all sports, especially baseball.

He was a very avid Brewers & Yankees Fan; and a huge Packer & Badger Fan, but especially loved watching his kids play sports. He will be greatly missed by his two daughters and family. Survivors include his two daughters: Kacie Shimulunas and her fiance, Lucas Dewitt of Green Bay, Kelcie Shimulunas of Mishicot; his parents, Bucky and Jill Shimulunas of Two Rivers; two brothers, Cory (Paula) Shimulunas of St. Joseph, Michigan, and their children: Mac, Cade, and Gabby; and Chad (Kathy) Shimulunas of Sheboygan, along with many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Chris was preceded in death by his grandparents: George and Marion Shimulunas & Orin and Virginia Stachovak; and three aunts, Jackie Komoroski, Jean Hatfield and Peggy Shimulunas. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 27, 2018 at Grace Congregational United Church of Christ, 2801 Garfield Street, Two Rivers. Rev.

Kim Henning will officiate at the service. Cremation has taken place. The family will greet friends and relatives at Grace Congregational Church, Thursday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service at 2:00 p.m. Online condolences may be sent to the family by visiting www.
