OBITUARY Christopher Jamal Simpson November 2, 1998 – October 21, 2018 Play Tribute Movie Christopher Jamal Anthony Simpson was born on November 2, 1998, in North Miami, FL, to proud parents Christinna and Courtney Simpson. He brought so much joy and warmth to all those who were blessed to know him. He was a natural born leader and he always lit up a room with his beautiful smile.
The Fountain of New Life Church served as his church home where he was baptized and accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior. He gave back to his church community by volunteering at various events earning numerous service hours. Christopher was the recipient of the Miami Dolphins Foundation 2015 “Volunteer of the Year” award.
Christopher had a passion for sports, especially basketball and football. He enjoyed football more and had the opportunity to play for Ives Estate at the age of 8 years old. He also played for Miami Central Senior High School.
Christopher believed he could achieve anything he put his mind to and graduated with Miami Central Senior High School’s class of 2017. He was employed with Federal Express prior to his illness. Chris, you were called home to be with our Lord and Savior too soon.
Now you sit at the right side of the Lord as one of his Angles looking down on your family and friends. We are comforted knowing that you are in the arms of our savior. Chris, we will forever miss you and words cannot express how much we love you.
ONE LOVE! ! Christopher is survived by his Parents – Christinna and Courtney Simpson, Sister – D’Andre Paul; Brothers – Julius Chase, Juel (Vanessa) Chase.
Great Grand-Mother – Monique Francois Grand-Parents – Hubert and Viviene Simpson; Saintilia and Yliones Paul. Aunts – Ann Marie Manning, Gina Paul, Germanie Paul, Geraldine Paul and Kelissa Paul. Uncles – Louiness (Arleen) Paul and Benneth Paul.
Nieces – Olivier and Camilla Chase. Nephews – Dion and Deondre Tisdale. Godparents – Cassandra Moo, Jinell Timothee, Robert Edwards, Otis Rankine.

A visitation for Christopher will be held Friday, November 9, 2018 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Forest Lawn Funeral Home South, 2401 Southwest 64th Avenue, Davie, Florida 33317. A visitation will occur Saturday, November 10, 2018 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Jesus Ministries Church, 8700 Miramar Parkway, Miramar, Florida 33025.
A funeral service will occur Saturday, November 10, 2018 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Jesus Ministries Church, 8700 Miramar Parkway, Miramar, Florida 33025. A burial will occur Saturday, November 10, 2018 at 1:30 PM at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens South, 2401 Davie Road, Davie, Florida 33317.
