Christopher’s Obituary Funeral services for Mr. Christopher Neil Perry will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, May 15, 2019, in the Chapel of Rush Funeral Home, Oakdale with Reverend Greg Willis officiating. Interment will follow in Cryer Cemetery, Oakdale, under the direction of Rush Funeral Home, Oakdale. Mr. Perry, 42, of Oakdale, entered eternal rest on Sunday, May 12, 2019 at his residence in Oakdale, LA.

Chris loved life, boating, sunrises and sunsets, motorcycles, dogs and anything that would go fast. But more than anything he loved his kids. He was preceded in death by his father, Darrell Wayne Perry; his paternal grandfather, Melvin Lee Perry and his maternal grandparents, Dallas and Mary Alice Johnson.

Those left to mourn his loss and cherish his memory include one son, Logan Cade Perry of Florien; one daughter, Lacy Brooke Perry of Florien; his fiance’, Mackie Dickens of Oakdale; the mother of his children, Ginger Perry of Florien; ; his parents, Brenda and Billy Eaves of Lake Charles; one step daughter, Taryn Jeane of Florien; three bonus children, Blake Bailes of Oakdale, Halyn Bailes of Lake Charles, Garin Dickens of Oakdale; four bonus grandchildren, Kayson Bailes of Oakdale, Brayden Bailes of Oakdale, Keegan Jeane of Florien, Kruz Jeane of Florien; his paternal grandmother, Bobbie Jean Priddy of Vicksburg, Mississippi; one step sister, Jodie Yates of Williamson, Georgia; a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends and his two dogs, Weston and Smokey. Those honored to serve as pallbearers are: Trenton “T.K.” Karam, Bryan Webb, Michael “Monroe” Reed, Caleb Dudley, Ba Ba Willis, Scott Dickens. Honorary pallbearers are Trey Willis and Blake Bailes.

Friends may call at Rush Funeral Home, Oakdale, from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 14, 2019. Visitation will resume on Wednesday, May 15, 2019 at 8:00 a.m. until time of service. Friends may post online messages of condolence for the Perry family by visiting www.
