Christopher Joel Revord, 56, of Hinsdale, IL, passed away on February 25, 2019, while under the care of hospice and supported by his family and friends. He was born to parents Francis Revord and Doris Cogswell, on May 17, 1962, in Evergreen Park, IL and grew up in Orland Park with his four brothers. Chris graduated from Carl Sandburg High School in 1980 and went on to major in Finance at the University of Kentucky, graduating in 1984.

In college, Chris continued to pursue his love of cross country and track and field while competing alongside his teammates and lifelong friends. Following college, he worked as an options trader for Chicago Research Trading at the CBOE. After 8 years at the CBOE, Chris continued his trading career over in Tokyo, Japan, working with Asian options products.

Over the next 10 years, Chris stayed active in the options markets working for CMZ Trading, Blue Capital and Typhoon FX. During his last years he worked to develop educational software for his company, YouBthere. Chris enjoyed coaching and actively following his children in their athletic pursuits.

Chris met Callie Bolattino in 1996 and they were married on December 19, 1998, in Joliet, IL. Together they raised two daughters and two sons and lived in Tokyo, Japan and Hinsdale, IL. Chris is survived by his wife Callie Revord, and his children Reilly, McKenna, Colby and Cooper.

He is also survived by his Step-Mother Joy Revord, brothers Scott (MaryJo), Michael, Jon (Suzanne) and David Revord. Uncle of Jon Jr., Jason, Justin and Kalyn, Ronald (Sarah), Austin, Lexie, Connor and Hunter Revord, and Ashley (Brett) Cottrell. He was preceded in death by his father, Francis, and mother, Doris Revord.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, February 28, from 4 to 8 p.m. at 7000 South Madison Street, Willowbrook, IL 60527. Friends and family will gather on Friday, March 1 at St. Michael’s Church, 14327 Highland Avenue, Orland Park, IL 60462 for a 10:45 a.m. funeral mass. Interment will be private and held at Bronswood Cemetery in Oak Brook, IL.
