Chuck Durgey, age 84, of Plant City, FL passed away on November 7, 2018. He was the son of the late Paul and Helen Sampson Durgey. Survivors include his wife: Kathryn Durgey, children: Timothy (Kimberly) Durgey, Diane Durgey, brother: Paul Durgey, sic grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.

Chuck was a member of the St. Clement Catholic Church, past President of the Optimist Club was a retired educator with Fayetteville Manlius High School after 34 years and St. Francis High School in Hawaii for 2 years. Coached baseball, football and golf. He was a Veteran of the United States Marine Corps.

He enjoyed golf and living life. The family will receive friends Monday, November 12, 2018 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Haught Funeral Home Chapel, 708 W. Dr. MLK Jr. Blvd. , Plant City, FL 33563.

Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday at St. Clement Catholic Church, Plant City, with Marine Corps Honors.
