C.J. “Butch” Lenhart, 67, of 1220 Chestnut St. Franklin, PA. , died at 1:35 A.M. Monday March 11, 2019 at UPMC-Northwest in Seneca. Born April 3, 1951 in Franklin, PA.

, he was the son of the late John F. & Mabel J. Walters Lenhart. Butch was a graduate of Franklin High School. A business entrepreneur, he had owned and operated several local gas stations over the years.

He enjoyed fishing, hunting, working on cars and also enjoyed watching movies. He was of the Catholic Faith. Butch was a member of the Franklin Moose Club.

He is survived by 2 daughters Rachel Lenhart of Franklin Melissa Karns McCauley of Oil City and a step son Patrick Thompson of Franklin Butch is also survived by five brothers and sisters. Betty Hanna of Stockbridge, GA Lucille Lovett of Columbus, GA Judy Hines of Franklin, PA. David Lenhart of Franklin, PA.

Barbara Lenhart of Clearwater, FL Several nieces and nephews also survive. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his longtime companion Paula Jean Thompson. There will be no viewing or visitation.
